The Family of Terah
31 One day Terah took his son Abram, his daughter-in-law Sarai (his son Abram’s wife), and his grandson Lot (his son Haran’s child) and moved away from Ur of the Chaldeans. He was headed for the land of Canaan, but they stopped at Haran and settled there. 32 Terah lived for 205 years and died while still in Haran

Genesis 9. God Confirms His Covenant
Noah’s Sons
24 When Noah woke up from his stupor, he learned what Ham, his youngest son, had done. 25 Then he cursed Canaan, the son of Ham:
“May Canaan be cursed!
May he be the lowest of servants to his relatives.”
26 Then Noah said,
“May the LORD, the God of Shem, be blessed,
and may Canaan be his servant!
27 May God expand the territory of Japheth!
May Japheth share the prosperity of Shem,
and may Canaan be his servant.”
28 Noah lived another 350 years after the great flood. 29 He lived 950 years, and then he died.

Genesis 7. The Flood Covers the Earth
Bible Verse Of The Day
[September 6, 2009]
“Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” (John 14:23)
My Personal Reflection:
Let us ask ourselves, Do we really love Jesus? Who is Jesus Christ in our lives? I’m sure that most of us will say the we know and we love Jesus. How about our lives, can we or did other people see Jesus in us? In our decision, in our way of thinking, in our job, in our family, in how we talk or how we love, can we see or can they see Jesus in us?

Genesis 5 & 6. A World Gone Wrong
Bible Verse Of The Day
[September 5, 2009]
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
My Personal Reflection:
Jesus gave to the eleven disciples this instruction to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” and we as Christian should do everything Jesus commanded us to do. To do what is holy and acceptable to Him, we must read the scriptures always, meditate on His words, lived with His word, share His love to one another and surely He said, He would be with us always up to the very end of the age. God bless you and may He always grant all your petitions.

Genesis 4. Cain and Abel
8 One day Cain suggested to his brother, “Let’s go out into the fields.” And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother, Abel, and killed him.
9 Afterward the LORD asked Cain, “Where is your brother? Where is Abel?”
“I don’t know,” Cain responded. “Am I my brother’s guardian?”
The Descendants of Cain
The Birth of Seth
25 Adam had sexual relations with his wife again, and she gave birth to another son. She named him Seth, for she said, “God has granted me another son in place of Abel, whom Cain killed.” 26 When Seth grew up, he had a son and named him Enosh. At that time people first began to worship the LORD by name.
